Stipend for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2019:

Period of Apprenticeship:

  • Graduate/ Diploma Apprentice: 1 year
  • ITI Trade Apprentice: 1 or 2 years

Age limit (as on 31.12.2018):

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 24 years

Age is relax-able by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

Graduate Apprentice (Mechanical Engineering Auto):

  • Degree in Mechanical/ Automobile engineering or equivalent from recognized university.

Graduate Apprentice (Public Relations):

  • Graduate/ PG Diploma in PR/ Journalism from a recognized university.

Graduate Apprentice (Airport Terminal Mgt):

  • 10th/ 10+2 pass with Diploma in Hotel Management or Graduate with Diploma in Sanitation or Public Hygiene/ Housekeeping from recognized university.

Graduate Apprentice (Finance):

  • Graduate with 3 to 6 months Computer training course.

Graduate Apprentice (Law):

  • Graduate with LLB from recognized university.

Graduate Apprentice (Communication Navigational Surveillance):

  • Bachelors Degree in Electronics / Tele Communication / Electrical with specialization in Electronics from recognized university.

Graduate Apprentice (IT):

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ IT/ Electronics or MCA from recognized university.

Graduate Apprentice (Civil Engineering):

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized university.

Graduate Apprentice (Electrical Engineering):

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from recognized university.

Diploma Apprentice (Mechanical Engineering Auto):

  • Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or equivalent from recognized university.

Diploma Apprentice (Communication Navigational Surveillance):

  • Diploma in Electronics / Tele Communication / Radio Engineering from recognized university.

Diploma Apprentice (Computer Science):

  • Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Engg / IT / Electronics from recognized university.

Diploma Apprentice (Civil Engineering):

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering

Diploma Apprentice (Electrical Engineering):

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering

ITI Trade Apprentice (Motor Vehicle Mechanic):

  • Vocational certificate course in Mechanic Motor Vehicle involving 2 years study after Secondary or equivalent

ITI Trade Apprentice (Diesel Mechanic):

  • Vocational certificate course in Mechanic Diesel course involving 1 year study after Secondary or equivalent

ITI Trade Apprentice (Auto Electrician):

  • Vocational Certificate course in Motor Vehicle Mech or Electrician or Electronics Mech involving 1 year study after secondary or equivalent

ITI Trade Apprentice (Tractor Mechanic):

  • Vocational Certificate Course in Mechanic Tractor or Farm machinery involving 1 years study after Secondary or equivalent

ITI Trade Apprentice (Communication Navigational Surveillance):

  • Vocational Certificate Course in Electronics/ Tele Communication/ Radio Engineering involving 1 year study after Secondary or equivalent.

ITI Trade Apprentice (Electrical Engineering):

  • Vocational Certificate Course in Electrical involving 1 year study after completion of Secondary or equivalent

Note:

  • The minimum qualifying marks for the prescribed qualification is 50% for General and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidates who have already undergone Training or Job experience of 1 year are not eligible.
  • Candidates should not have completed the qualifying exam after 3 years as on 31-12-2018.

Selection Process:

  • Merit list (based on % obtained in prescribed qualification)
