Educational Qualification and Experience:

Professor:

Essential for medical Candidates

  • MBBS or equivalent from recognised university.
  • MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline/subject. AND/OR
  • M.Ch. for surgical super-specialities and D.M. for Medical Super-specialities.
  • 14 years teaching and/or research experience in the concerned speciality after M.D./M.S. or equivalent. OR
  • 12 years teaching and/or research experience in the concerned speciality after M.Ch./D.M. in the respective discipline/subject or equivalent OR
  • 11 years teaching and/or research experience in the concerned speciality for the candidates having 3 years D.M/M. Ch. in the respective discipline/subject.

Essential for Non-Medical Candidates

  • PG in the discipline/allied subject.
  • Doctorate degree in concerned discipline.
  • 14 years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate degree.

Additional Professor:

Essential for Medical Candidates

  • MBBS or equivalent from recognised university.
  • MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline/subject.
  • 10 years teaching and/or research experience in the subject of speciality after M.D. /M.S.

Essential for Super speciality disciplines:

Assistant Professor:

Essential for medical candidates (For General Disciplines):

  • MBBS or equivalent from recognised university.
  • MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline/subject.
  • 3 years teaching and/or research experience in the subject of speciality after M.D. /M.S.

Essential for Super speciality disciplines:

  • MBBS or equivalent from recognised university.
  • MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline/subject.
  • D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical super specialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course).
  • 1 years teaching and/or research experience in the subject of speciality after D.M./M.Ch.
