  • Project Assistant-II: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Inorganic/Physical/Analytical) with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/DGPA Or BE/B.Tech. in Chemical Engg/Metallurgical Engg./Materials Science/Ceramic Engg with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/DGPA.
  • Project Assistant-I: Diploma in Ceramic Technology/Mechanical Engg/Metallurgical Engg/Chemical Engg with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/DGPA Or B.Sc. in Physic/Chemistry/Math with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/DGPA.

Project: Synthetic high alumina aggregate from sillimanite beach sand for refractory application

  • Project Assistant-I: B.Sc. in Chemistry with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/DGPA. Preference would be given to candidates having experience in wastewater analysis/characterization techniques.
  • Project Assistant-II: M.Sc. in Chemistry with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/DGPA. Preference would be given to candidates having experience in material synthesis, powder preparation, material characterization etc.

Project: Selection of materials and in-depth investigation for application in low temperature solid oxide fuel cell (LT-SOFC)

  • Research Associate-III: Ph.D in Chemistry (Inorganic/Physical/Physics/Material Science with 4 years of experience in the relevant areas. Desirable: The candidate may have at least one research publication in the standard refereed journal as listed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR).
  • Project Assistant-II: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Inorganic/physical)/Physics with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/DGPA Or BE/B.Tech in Ceramic/Metallurgy/Materials Science or equivalent with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/DGPA. Preference will be given to those candidates having 1st Class degree.

A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 29.11.2018 at 11-00 A.M this Institute to engage bonafide Indian citizen in the following project(s), tenable at CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata.

  3. The original certificates should also be brought with him/her at the time of interview for verification.

Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI) originally proposed to be named as Central Glass & Silicate Research Institute is one of the first four laboratories decided to be set up under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, the other three being National Chemical Laboratory,Pune; National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi and Central Fuel Research Institute, Dhanbad.
