  2. Basic Registration form will be displayed on clicking the ‘Candidate Registration’ respective to Examination.
  3. After the completion of the procedure of first stage, ‘Fee to be deposited [in INR]’ shall be displayed with caption “Click here to proceed for payment”.
  4. After clicking the above caption of ‘Click here to proceed for payment”, home page of State Bank MOPS (Multi Option Payment System) shall be displayed comprising of 3 modes of payment viz. (i) NET BANKING (ii) CARD PAYMENTS and (iii) OTHER PAYMENT MODES.
  5. On completion of the procedure of second stage click on “Proceed for final submission of application form (Part-2)” as a result of which ‘format’ shall be displayed.

8 Assistant Geo-Physicist Gazetted
  • A master’s degree in Geophysics or Applied Geophysics or Geology or Applied Geology from a University established by Law in India with at least 50 percent marks in the aggregate provided that in case of Master’s degree in Geology/Applied Geology, the candidate must have Physics and Mathematics for his B.Sc. Degree, and
  • A course in Advanced Exploration Geophysics with practical training in use of conventional and modern Geophysical equipment for search of mineral deposits.

In the Preliminary Examination for the objective type Question papers, penalty (Negative Marking) shall be imposed for wrong answers given by the candidates .The minimum efficiency standard for S.C. & S.T. candidates is fixed 30%. Similarly, the minimum efficiency standard for the candidates of other categories is fixed 40%.

The candidates will have a choice to answer General Knowledge and Law papers either in Hindi or in English.
