  • For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

UPSC Civil Services Exam:

  • Degree in any discipline from recognized university.
  • Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Civil Services Examination.

UPSC Forest Service Exam:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering.

How to Apply for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019:

  1. Candidates are required to apply Online only by using the website
  2. Candidates will be required to complete the Online Application Form containing two stages viz. Part-I and Part-II as per the instructions available in the above mentioned site through drop down menu.
  3. Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/ PH who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India.
  4. Applicants who opt for “Pay by cash” mode should print the system generated Pay-in slip during Part-II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only. “Pay by cash” mode option will be deactivated at 11.59 PM of 17.03.2019 i.e. one day before the closing date.
